The kittens
Minette
Minette is our heroine, the leading lady of the pack. She’s a French kitten who always has to live up to the standard of the perfect kitty.
She was the prettiest of the litter, and feels the pressure to be impeccable and not disappoint.
She is always in a good mood, and is the care taker of everyone.
The others know they can count on her no matter what, but sometimes it gets difficult for her to carry this responsibility and she wishes she could just be the little one.
Alice
Alice laughs all the time but she hates the big dark mark on her nose.
She thinks she’s ugly because of it, so she feels the need to be super outgoing and funny to make up for her lack of cuteness.
As a result, she is always ready to be the center of attention, but she hides this deep insecurity that pushes her to attack the toilet paper from time to time to calm down.
She is playful and like to play tricks on the others.
Cici
- Cici is a sophisticated Belgian gourmet, a permanent resident at the Château du Haut-Miaou.
- She loves to eat and needs to try every kind of food she can find like tomatoes, olives, keys, cables, pens…
- She is very keen on humans and needs long and frequent petting sessions.
- She love classical music and opera and she was the first one to discover Jimmy and Rosie because of their music playing.
- She is the one who convinced the other that mice can be fabulous friends and shouldn’t be eaten.
Tiger
- Tiger is an American kitten who was left at the Château du Haut-Miaou by his family during their vacation on the riviera.
- . He misses his parents and is terrified of not belonging. He is self conscious about his accent and the fact that his French is not very good.
- He’s proud and tends to hide his feelings and pretend all is well even when he is sad. He hides to cry.
- He has a good heart and always wants to help, but often ends up putting his nose where it doesn’t belong.

The mice
Rosie McMousy (former róża kamińska )
Róża moved to England when she was young and changed her name to Rosie in order to fit in.
She traveled throughout Europe with her piano playing and met Jimmy in London doing a recital.
They fell in love, got married and decided to move to the South of France because of the weather and the cheese.
Jimmy McMousy
Jimmy has an Irish father and a French mother and was born and raised in London where he met Rosie. His home was The Phoenix Theater in the West End so he grew up watching musicals.
He used to watch every show as he was fascinated by the musicians playing. He plays every instrument we can think of, he likes the trumpet in particular.
Jimmy is very caring, and into self help, yoga and meditation.
He now lives at the Château du Haut-Miaou with his wife Rosie
